Problems

So I filmed the second sequence but the lighting and whole feel of the scene didn’t turn out as I planned. The scene was too dark and my camera couldn't handle it and there was too much grain in the image. I couldn't bring up the ISO or add more light because the scene was supposed to be dark. Because of this I needed a back up plan. I think that all the footage I filmed of the cooking will easily make it to two minutes but I have to somehow make it all make sense. I plan is to film more abstract shots like the one’s in Hannibal. Like this one:

It will be pretty simple, it's just some food dye and water. Also harsh lighting against a white background will make the high contrast. I'll put that over or under the cooking video with a different blending mode to make it look cool and strange. I now want to create an on edge look with sharp cuts and titles. I'll make the titles of the actors and their names in the film opening fade in during these abstract shots.

Now since the opening does’t really make sense I want to try write a voice over so it can be explained better and put an effect on it to make it sound like a phone call or a radio.
